Samples and lead time
How long pods take, what you can see before you order, and how to keep your project on programme.
Typical timeline
Office pods usually take 15 to 25 working days to produce once drawings and finishes are approved. Sea freight to the UK adds about five to seven weeks, so most projects should allow ten to twelve weeks from approval to installation.
| Stage | Typical duration |
|---|---|
| Quote, drawings and finishes | 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how quickly choices are made |
| Production | 15 to 25 working days |
| Sea freight to a UK port | About 5 to 7 weeks |
| Customs clearance and delivery to site | Usually within a week of arrival |
| Assembly on site | Typically a few hours per booth, longer for meeting pods |
Times are typical ranges and depend on the model, quantity, finishes and shipping schedules. Your quote states the expected dates for your order.
What you can see first
Choose the level of sampling that matches the size of your project.
Finish references
Photographs and colour references for shells, felt and fabrics, sent with your quote.
Swatch kits
Physical samples of felt, upholstery and panel finishes so you can check colour and texture in your own light.
Sample pods
A complete pod for roll-outs across several sites, or where a client needs to sign off before a larger order.
Sample costs and delivery are quoted by our team based on the model and quantity.
Keeping to programme
Most delays come from late decisions, not production. These habits keep projects on time.
- Fix the model mix before choosing finishes
- Approve colours from physical swatches, not screens
- Confirm power positions and ceiling heights early
- Book the installer and the goods-in slot with the building
- Allow a buffer around peak shipping seasons
